POSITION:  A&P Certified Technician

Western Aero Repair is currently accepting applications for qualified A&P Certified Technician.

We are an FAA and EASA certified repair station, centrally located near I-25 and I-70. In our indoor, climate-controlled production facility, we provide services to overhaul fixed-wing structures for military and commercial aircraft. Our primary focus is component repair/overhaul of all flight control surfaces, doors, landing gear, and structures (ATA Chapters: 20, 27, 32, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, and 57). The components are worked either in fixtures or on bench, and work involves a combination of sheet metal and mechanical skillsets. We are an EEO employer.

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and training which qualifies the employee to perform the essential job duties of the position

  • Valid FAA A&P license preferred, or two to three years' work experience preferred in the aviation industry, or similar production or repair facility is desired. However, an individual's skill-sets will be evaluated through a practical, written, and verbal assessment during the interview process

  • The ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English

  • Candidate should have good time management skills

  • Basic proficiency in current personal computer based software

  • Work conditions: 110,00-square foot off-airfield Indoor climate controlled production facility environment

  • Centrally located in the Denver-metropolitan area off of I-25 and I-70
